Safed Pulao

This is my Grandmom's special pulao which I learnt from my Mom. I love this because of it's

 aroma and  texture.The recipe is untouched , I only renamed it :) 






Ingredients:

2 cups of  basmati rice/pulao rice/Gobindobhog chaal(soak it in water at about 30 mins. for better result)

Ghee 2 tbsp 

2 tspn ginger-garlic paste

1 cinnamon stick

3-4 green cardamom pods

2-3 cloves

1 bay leaf

Milk  1/2 cup

Salt (as per taste)

Sugar  (as per taste)

 Beresta (Fried onion) of one large onion
2 Green chilli 

Water 4 cups 



Method:

1.First heat ghee in a pan

2.Add the whole spices into it

3.Now add ginger-garlic paste

4.Fry it for few seconds

5.Add the rice into the pan

6.Mix it well and fry it nicely for 2-3 minutes

7. Now add water to the pan

8.When the water starts to boil add salt , sugar as per taste and the whole green chillies into it.

9.Cover the pan and cook the rice in low flame

10.When the rice is almost done add the milk

11.Again cover it till the rice is completely done

Now add the fried onions into the pulao and serve hot .
